Launching Spring 2010
National Geographic and Virgin Galactic
Join maverick entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson and legendary aeronautical engineer Burt Rutan on their quest to create the world’s first commercial manned spaceship. Over the next two years the project will pass a series of milestones, each a groundbreaking development towards the first commercial space flights.
Virgin Galactic will document the pioneers in space tourism, Virgin’s pilots and crew, and their first passengers – with plans calling for 50,000 ordinary people to travel into space in the first 10 years of operation.

I have been following Virgin Galactic since the begining. I am hoping to see this company bloom into a spring board to the stars. I believe this will change everything. Hotels in Space and trips around the moon. With this done Mars will seem very close. Please send news to my E-mail. regalride, denve, rcolo

My day dreams are filled with space flight. I tell people all the time " I just want to make it into outer space in my lifetime, that's it". Keep me posted as to launch times

I would do anything to go to space on one of those flights. I hope to be able to work there in the near future and help design and build new shuttles and other things. The first time i heard about this my heart literally jumped as i saw a gimps of my dream becoming closer to reality.
