Last week, Virgin Galactic hosted a new, annual event exclusive to our Future Astronaut Community called Space For The Curious. This inaugural event is designed to offer our Future Astronauts a variety of curated, inspiring, enriching and adventurous experiences leading into their spaceflight.
Hosted at the beautiful Brush Creek Ranch in Wyoming’s Sierra Madre mountains, we welcomed guests from all over the world, with Future Astronauts old and new joining us for the 3 day event. This year's theme was “Why Space Matters” and our guests were connected with a host of experts, unique panels and hands-on workshops centered around mission, purpose and legacy:
Kellie Gerardi, Citizen Scientist and Future Astronaut
Chris Hadfield, Astronaut
Ron Garan, Astronaut
Anousheh Ansari, Astronaut
Jim Kwik, Brain Coach
Jean Oelwang, CEO of Virgin Unite
From mind to body, the sessions were impactful and inspiring, while the events and social activities connected us with Wyoming’s natural beauty and with each other.
